Jason Allen is an Australian solo artist who lived a short stint in Switzerland but has now returned home to Melbourne and is currently pushing his 2005 CD both home and abroad.
Raised on psychedelia, trained at the Conservatory in experimental music and forced into hard labor as a sound engineer, Jason now brings you the fusion of all his musical experiences in a gorgeous explosion of Alternative Pop.
Jason's music reflects a wide range of contemporary sounds .... from the popular sounds of The Flaming Lips to the alternative rock of Grandaddy and The Eels to the electronic groove of Damon Albarn's side project Gorillaz, Jason is an intensely focused solo artist who has a personal vision of the possibilities of the contemporary Pop Rock scene.
