In a little known hamlet of East Patchogue NY, next to Bellport, NY, where the ball bearing was invented, sprung forth a musical phenomenon. Tom Gorman’s vocal mastery, combined with Dave Wimpelberg’s low-down authority and Jeff Somma’s skins, formed the backbone and groove of the musical entity known as The Box. The band is rounded out by melodic string pluckers Chuck Fargione, Frank Aragona, and Joe DeMaio. If you ever wondered who your musical daddy was, look no further than The Box.
